Sometimes.

I like to give, serve, and love buying gifts for people.

If I was a rich dude I’d probably wouldn’t be rich for long because I’d hook up a lot of family, friends, and organizations with stuff.

Every month I like pledging to Kickstarter. I also pay fast offerings and donate to other charitable contributions. I buy Christmas presents for fam and friends. I only do Birthday presents though if there is a party.

No Party, No Presents!

I like doing a tab system with friends when eating out. I pay then you pay. Its fun.

Though as much as I like to spend money and money I don’t have, I also like opportunities for free stuff and I’m a kind freeloader, meaning I’m very grateful and I do something to pay people back.

I enter all sorts of giveaways, contests, and sweepstakes. I’ve learned over the years the more you enter the more likely you’ll win.

But I have to be honest after awhile of doing the gift giving and tab hook ups. If the receiver doesn’t become a giver then I stop. This doesn’t mean I’m always waiting for my gifts, but at the same time it sort of sucks. Sometimes I’ve noticed people don’t want gifts because they feel committed or contracted to give a gift in return. But the way I see it is; if someone you know is nice enough to give you a gift, help you out, show they care, and express appreciation for your friendship, why not return the favor?

Either way its fun to surprise people with a gift and it feels good to help someone out. Especially, your wife and kids.

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man

OK Go: Needing/Getting Music Video/Commercial

OK Go: Needing/Getting Music Video/Commercial

Check It!
Which means I grew up with LL Cool J, Young MC, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, EPMD, and others. Though at that time I probably didn’t know who any of these people were except LL and Beastie Boys because my older brothers had those songs on locked. Living in California I was exposed to Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and 2Pac. I listened to all of the West Coast throughout elementary. In middle school 7-8th I began to listen to BIG, Wu-Tang, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Mase, Busta Rhymes, Redman, DMX, and Canibus. During my high school years I started going underground a little more while still enjoying what was on BET’s Rap City. I listened to Big Pun, Rakim, Mobb Deep, Outkast, Eminem, Cage, Necro, Sage Francis, Copywrite, Nabo Rawk, Onyx, Non-Phixion, Arsonist, Black Star, Jurassic 5, and El-P. When I reached my college years which in my case was 2005 til’ now. My collection consists of The Cool Kids, Mac Miller, Atmosphere, Yelawolf, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Common, Big Daddy Kane, Ugly Duckling, Aesop Rock, and local MCs from my area. I still continue listening to all the other artist I use to listen to whenever they come out with something new and RIP to those who are no longer with us. Now I know there are a ton of other artist I could have listed, but this will help you understand my taste in Rap music. Now let’s get one thing straight. Its Hip Hop music, but the element is RAP/Emceeing the culture is Hip Hop. So rap/hip hop music is the same thing. That’s how I feel about it and how I see it.

"Real success is being happy doing what you love."

“Real success is being happy doing what you love.”

- Johnny Cupcakes

Petair Workout.

You support and cheer them on before they become as famous. Then they no longer answer their phone or help you out with your own projects?

But on the flip side there are also those people you ask for help when you’re starting out and they don’t want to be involved in your projects. But as soon as they see you’re blowing up they want to be involved.

Or how about those people that only ever want to be involved with someone or something because they know they’ll get a little boost to their own reputation.

This is how I see it. I’ll help out whoever asks for my help. Especially, if I know you’re someone that is working on becoming a better you and/or are trying to help out the community/scene. You don’t have to be famous, but you have to be hustling and not the kind of hustle- by any means necessary.

I won’t help people that didn’t want to lend a hand when I asked for helped. Also any opportunity I get I’m willing to bring people along who were with me from the beginning. Its only fair.

I also won’t lower my standards just to gain a bigger audience. I’m not going to work with people that I know aren’t doing anything to build their community and are all about making money and nothing else. You have to be about creating not just monetizing. There is a difference between selling out and making moves. Everyone wants to make money and be famous, but don’t forget why you started doing what you do. Did you start because you loved it or because you love money?

VOTE for Sugar Steak Apparel: http://bit.ly/xTQH6I

VOTE for Sugar Steak Apparel: http://bit.ly/xTQH6I

Twitter

Twitter:
Follow me on Twitter I talk about what I eat, where I shop, and a bunch of other random stuff… But on the real I also share cool links about movies, music, video games, threads, and YouTube videos.

Check It!
