I think the majority of people just give up doing New Year's Resolutions after the first week, because they miss a day or realize its going to be too tough or they just didn't plan them in a timley manner.
I haven't fulfilled a lot of my daily goals for my NYR, but at the same time I'm not going to give up! I just get myself together and start over. The hardest one to even start though has been the exercise one. My reason/excuse I don't sleep as much as I should. The irony is that when I work out I sleep better, but since I don't sleep that great I don't work out. It goes hand and hand.
My other goals are going well. I have to remind myself constantly that my NYR need to be discussed daily or even frequently so they become a top priority.
